How does the custom hat ordering process work?

Our custom hat ordering process is simple and straightforward. You just upload your logo or artwork, specify any additional info, and press submit. Our team team then does the heavy lifting and takes your design, applies it to our hat selection (and other products if applicable) and creates a custom page for you to view and order when you're ready. You will be send an invite from El Cappo with a custom login once the page is created.

What types of customizations can I make to my hats?

We aim to keep things simple, while also offering various ways for you to customize and get involved. Some examples include adding side designs, back of hat designs, and size and placement options. When you fill out the inquiry form, it's best to add this info there. Once the product proofs are made, you can then review and request changes as well. No worries either way, as you don't need your credit card until your satisfied and ready to order.

Can I order hats with my company logo or design?

Hell yeah, that's primarily what we do. We specialize in creating custom hats with your company logo or design. Simply upload your artwork during the ordering process, and we'll bring your vision to life on high-quality hats.

What are the available hat styles and colors for customization?

What file formats do you accept for logo/artwork uploads?

We accept commonly used file formats such as .pdf, .jpg, and .png for logo and artwork uploads. If you have any specific requirements or questions about file formats, feel free to reach out to ask any questions. We do have a graphic design background and can help format files and types pretty easily too.

Are there any restrictions on the size or placement of logos/artwork?

While we strive to accommodate your design preferences to the best of our ability, there may be certain size and placement limitations depending on the hat style and customization method. Our design team will work closely with you to ensure that your logo or artwork is applied tastefully and effectively on your hats.

Can I request a custom sample or prototype before placing a bulk order?

You can easily just order one hat to start and review the "sample". That's the beauty of El Cappo!

If you are committed to a larger order and will commit to payment up front, we can work with you to secure a sample at minimal charge.


What is the minimum order quantity for custom hats?

What's a minimum order quantity?!

We don't believe in that sh@t. At El Cappo, you can order 1 single cap, or any other amount you want. We do this by pricing it fairly by tiers. You can find the pricing tiers on our "Pricing" page. Transparency is a big component to our success.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Our pricing is tiered to reward larger orders, while also ensuring you receive the best value for you no matter what qty you order.

If qty's exceed 250 units, please contact El Cappo to discuss.

Are there any additional fees or charges for customizations?

Pricing as shown includes one stitched logo/design. However, we also can add designs to other areas, such as the side of a hat, for an additional cost. This ranges from $5-$3.50 depending on qty ordered.

No matter what final design you choose, you'll be able to review the designs on your custom page, where final prices will be generated by qty, so we guarantee no surprises when it comes to final pricing.


How do I upload my logo or artwork for customization?

You can easily upload your logo or artwork using the form on our website. Simply follow the prompts to select your file and attach it to your order. Our system will guide you through the upload process, ensuring that your design meets our guidelines and you can add any important product or design related info as well. We're always reachable by email and/or phone as well to answer any questions.

What payment methods do you accept for custom hat orders?

We accept all major credit cards and also Paypal. You can choose the payment option that is most convenient for you during the checkout process on our website.

Can I cancel or modify my custom hat order after it has been placed?

Once your custom hat order has been placed and confirmed, it may not be possible to cancel or modify it, especially if production has already begun.

If product does arrive damaged or there are quality control issues (ie: stitching), we will review and do our best to accommodate a re-shipment of the product at fault. We do request we are informed of the issues within 48 hours of delivery.

What is the turnaround time for custom hat orders?

The turnaround time for custom hat orders depends on various factors, including hat style, colour, and stock.

We do aim to deliver product within 2-3 weeks though, and you will always receive an email with a tracking link once you place the order.

How can I track the status of my custom hat order?

Once your custom hat order has been placed and confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. You can use this tracking information to monitor the status and location of your package as it makes its way to you.
